About plan A

plan A may be too cheeky a name for a personal website. However, it does encapsulate the thoughts which, from time to time, I find time to memorialize herein.

Exposing one's personal information, thoughts and experiences over the web for everyone to see is fraught with perils. Mistakes in spelling and grammar are easily committed-though likely to be forgiven by most people. Certain points-of-view may stoke ill reactions from non-acquaintances or worse, from dear friends. Malicious individuals lurk in cyberspace with tools that can screen-scrape email addresses they can send spams to. And one should never post about going on a vacation or winning the lottery as there are those with criminal intent who may exploit such information.

It would not be long before corporate bandits employ language-pattern, psycho-analysis techniques for invasive marketing. Governments may too, in the future, ascertain whether you are a tax-evader based on the number of vowels and consonants you use in your blogs.

In the grand scheme of things, all our ideas and experiences belong to the human collective. As we continue to evolve as a group of nature's creatures, I feel it is both a right and an obligation to share what bubbles within our cerebrum. It helps enrich other people's experiences and certainly, our own.

And oh yes, close friends call me 'A'. There is no plan 'B'. There shouldn't be.
